Virtual reality innovation in exposure therapy
What do you think of when you hear “virtual reality”? Virtual reality...
UBC Health and the BC Centre on Substance Use have launched the new Substance Use and Addiction Lunch & Learn Series to provide foundational knowledge about substance use and addiction. This free webinar series is geared towards health program instructors and preceptors from any discipline who supervise students. However, anyone can benefit from this learning, and all are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Join us on November 19 for the first in the series.
The webinar will provide a high-level overview of substance use and addiction as well as the overdose crisis in BC. It will explore ways instructors and preceptors can address the harms of substance use through a health equity and social justice lens and general approaches to care for the management of addiction.
