Virtual reality innovation in exposure therapy
What do you think of when you hear “virtual reality”? Virtual reality...
The 2019-20 UBC Interprofessional Health Mentors Program is proud to present our Virtual Symposium!
The Symposium is the highlight of the yearlong UBC Health Mentors Program, a unique experiential activity in which interdisciplinary teams of healthcare students learn together with and from a health mentor who has a chronic condition/disability or cares for someone who does.
Due to COVID-19, this year the Symposium has gone virtual: the 40 mentors and 130 students in the Health Mentors Program are sharing their learning with other UBC students, faculty, and the community electronically through tweets and a variety of innovative digital presentations.
We would like to thank all of our students and mentors for their amazing contributions to the Virtual Symposium, under what we know have been difficult circumstances. We invite everyone to explore the presentations and join in the conversation by sharing comments on the discussion board in each presentation:
The UBC Interprofessional Health Mentors Program is coordinated by Patient & Community Partnership for Education in the Office of UBC Health and is funded by UBC Health.
